The Brian Piccolo Specialty School is located on the West Side of Chicago on Keeler Avenue. In August 1973, Orr Elementary and Middle Schools were renamed after Brian Piccolo in honor of the cooperation and team spirit exhibited by the former Bears running back. The Piccolo School strives to create a safe and orderly learning environment that engages all its students. Teachers participate regularly in workshops and seminars to further enhance their knowledge of collaborative learning techniques and parents are invited to be active partners in their children's education.
